Позакласний захід з англійської мови "Music Festival"

| Music Festival. Мета: Практична: узагальнити лексичний матеріал та вивчити нові лексичні одиниці на базі пісенного матеріалу, використаного в процесі підготовки до фестивалю. Освітня: надати учням додаткову інформацію про розвиток музики в англомовних країнах. Розвиваюча: розвивати інтелектуальні, пізнавальні та творчі здібності учнів. Виховна: виховувати інтерес до англійської пісні як способу вивчення іноземної мови, вчити учнів поважати культуру інших країн. Підготовка до фестивалю починається задовго до його проведення. В конкурсі приймають участь учні 7-11 класів. Щоб надати можливість приймати участь у фестивалі учням з різноплановими здібностями, дітям пропонується підготуватися до фестивалю в наступних номінаціях:
Діти з великим задоволенням займаються оформленням афіш. В склад редколегії входять учні, які не мають особливих здібностей до вивчення англійської мови, але мають нахили до малювання. Функції головного редактора, як правило, виконує учень, який може керувати процесом оформлення афіші на англійській мові. Редколегія добирає інформацію про пісні та їх виконавців, відшукує фото зображення та компонує відібраний матеріал. Школярі охоче приймають участь у виборі музичного матеріалу, залучають до процесу своїх рідних та знайомих, із задоволенням працюють над перекладом обраних пісень. Оформлені афіші вивішуються на початку тижня англійської мови і викликають жвавий інтерес та обговорення серед всього колективу школи. Афіша 7-го класу представляє дует, який виконує американську народну пісню “Clementine” та розповідає деякі факти, пов’язані з історією цієї пісні. Ведучими фестивалю є семикласники, тому автори афіші вважають за необхідне звернути на це увагу публіки. Афіша 8-го класу закликає подивитись кліп до пісні “Go down, Moses” та послухати народну американську пісню “My Bonnie”. Афіша 9- класу розповідає про пісні, які були популярні в шкільні роки їхніх батьків.(Слід відзначити активність батьків, які допомагали учням, відібрати необхідний матеріал для оформлення афіші та допомогу в підготовці музичних номерів.) Афіша 10 класу представляє виконавицю пісні “Solo” та переконує, що танець – це мова, яка зрозуміла всім. Афіша 11-го класу знайомить читачів з деякими фактами з життя легендарних “Pink Floyd” та “The Beatles”, а також пропонує послухати всесвітньо відому “Yesterday” у виконанні учня 11-го класу та подивитись кліп до уривку з композиції “Pink Floyd” “The Wall”. Журі фестивалю оцінює афіші в наступних номінаціях:
Фестиваль проводиться в шкільному актовому залі. Сцена прикрашена плакатом “Music Festival”. На сцену виходять учень та учениця. Це ведучі фестивалю. P1. Good morning, dear guests! P2. Good morning, dear friends! P1. We are very glad to see you at our music festival! We are sure that everybody in this room likes music very much! P2. It’s impossible to imagine our life without music. People listen to music, having a rest, driving a car, cleaning our flats… P1. … and even doing our lessons! P2. Yes, you are right! My mother always gets angry with me when I do my homework and listen to music at the same time. P1. Music helps us to understand other people’s life, teaches us to love and hate. Listening to different songs, we can learn history, culture and traditions of other peoples. P2. But what should we do if we don’t understand songs? There are so many wonderful songs in English and other languages. P1. Don’t you know what to do? Study foreign languages! P2. If you want to know what it is told about in an old American song “Clementine” learn English as Bohdan and Yana do! P1. Meet our friends! Bohdan Zalevsky and Yana Grygorenko! You know, the 8th formers will help you to visit Egypt. They have prepared an interesting show about Egypt land to the song “Go down, Moses”. Вони не сміють навіть підняти погляд. Перед фараоном з’являються танцівниці, які виконують танок на втіху фараону та його слугам. Служниці подають фараону таці з різноманітними фруктами та напоями. На сцену виходить Мойсей. Він піднімає руки догори і начебто прислухається до голосу з небес. Потім Мойсей кличе рабів за собою. Спочатку невпевнено, потім сміливіше раби відкривають свої обличчя, беруться за руки та йдуть за ним. Фараон та його оточення підбігають до краю сцени і кричать: “Where are you going? Come back! Who will work?” Раби відповідають: “Never! Work yourselves!” P1. I have a question. P2. What question? P1. How do we call two people singing together? P2. Duet. P1. На сцені з’являється молодий чоловік. В руках у нього багато рахунків, які потрібно оплатити. Юнак у відчаї, бо він не має грошей. Раптом до нього приходить ідея. Він одягається жебраком і йде просити милостиню. Зібравши певну суму грошей, молодий чоловік вирішує випробувати долю в казино. І доля йому посміхається! P2. Yulya, do you know who is called “a golden voice of Ukraine”? P1. Yes, of course. This is Taisia Povaliy. P2. Who is “a golden voice” of our school? P1. This is Maryna Bilenko! Учениця 10-го класу виконує пісню із репертуару Алсу. “SOLO”. Сцена оформлена у вигляді класної кімнати. Чітко, як роботи, учні виконують розпорядження вчителя. Зрештою, сувора дисципліна набридає учням і вони відмовляються бути підлеглими. Разом вони співають пісню “We don’t need no education, we don’t need no thought control No dark sarcasm in the classroom Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone….” P1.
